ZDL file extension format:
To find out what program is needed to open ZDL files, you need to determine the file format. The initial characters of a file are called signature, sometimes also referred to as "magic bytes". The signature can be used to infer the file format. Frequently, however, one file extension is used by different programs for different file formats, and one file format for different file extensions. When there is a problem with a file, the first step to solving it is to determine the file format. Our evaluation of the ZDL files is as follows:
ZDL is not a commonly used file extension and predominantly uses a uniform format. The following file formats are most commonly found in ZDL files:
- 95% of all ZDL files utilize the Microsoft Compound File format, also known as Compound File Binary File format (CFBF or CFB) or OLE2 Compound Document format. This is a complex container format used by earlier versions of Microsoft Office and other Windows programs. Header signature for the CFB format with 8-byte Hex value D0CF11E0A1B11AE1 (which looks like "DOCFILE"). The internal app name of ZDL files is DesignPro or Label Factory. Sections and streams in the file have names like Contents and SummaryInformation. A typical file size is 520 KB. The file type was developed 10 years ago and is still in use today. These files can be linked to label, labels, card, christmas and business.
All other ZDL files (5%) have different formats. If you want to find out what your ZDL file contains, drag and drop it onto this page.
