What is a 7Z file?

7Z files mostly belong to 7-Zip by Igor Pavlov. 7Z is a file extension for a 7-Zip compressed file. It supports several compression algorithms and is an open standard with an open modular architecture, allowing the addition of new compression algorithms. • Deflate

How to open 7Z files

You need a suitable software like 7-Zip to open a 7Z file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
