What is an ASL file?

ASL files mostly belong to Photoshop by Adobe. ASL stands for Adobe Photoshop Style. It is the file extension used by layer style files in Adobe Photoshop, a raster graphics editing software. A layer style consists of one or more visual effects (such as color overlay, gradient overlay, drop shadow, stroke, bevel etc.) that can be applied to layers on a Photoshop project. Photoshop includes preset layer styles and also allows users to create their own custom styles.
