BMML files mostly belong to Braille Music Reader by Contrapunctus. BMML filename extension is associated with musical scores written in braille letters which are readable by persons with visual impairment. BMML music score files are encoded in XML-based formats such as MusicXML or NIFF notation to allow for easy interchange of music scores across programs such as Braille Music Reader.
