What is a JSX file?

JSX files mostly belong to Visual Studio Code by Microsoft. A JSX file is the executable script for a plugin written in ExtendScript using ExtendScript Toolkit or a code editor. ExtendScript is a JavaScript-based language for developing plugins and batch processing scripts used by Adobe design products such as After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Another type of JSX file is a module for a web or mobile application project to be built with React framework. This second type of JSX file is written in JavaScript Syntax Extension, a markup language that allows developers to write React components in HTML/XML-like syntax instead of writing components as JavaScript objects.

How to open JSX files

You need a suitable software like Visual Studio Code to open a JSX file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
