When there is a problem with a file, the first step to solving it is to determine the file format. Our analysis of the LMK files produces the following result:

LMK is not that commonly used as a file extension. This file type is used by a few programs, each with its own file format. The two most common formats are as follows:

• 50% of all LMK files are Sothink Logo Maker logo files. If you open these files in a text editor, you will see only illegible characters. The file name Contacts.lmk or route66_History.lmk is typical for these files. Files like these are sometimes connected to route and history.
