MJP file format:
The file format determines how the data is stored in the file. Often, the file format can be deduced from the file extension or the initial bytes (called the signature). Nonetheless, different programs can utilize the same file extension to represent distinct file formats. Double-clicking on the file often results in an error when opening. If there are problems opening a file, you must first determine the file format used. Below you will find our evaluation of the MJP files:
The MJP file extension is quite common and mainly uses a defined MJP format. The two most common formats are as follows:
- 70% of all MJP files start with the bytes MLHF[[FILEINFO]] crucial for this file format. If you open these files in a text editor, you will see only illegible characters. The files are on average 44 MB in size and range from 5 MB to 470 MB. This file type is based on cutting-edge technology. Several words can almost always be found in the files, e.g. MLHF[[FILEINFO]] and [[FRAMEINFO]]. Such MJP files store data about front, pumps, store, pump, entrance, parking, server, vigil, door and exit.
- 15% of all MJP files save the data in JPG file format. JPEG is the standard image format for lossy and compressed image data. If you open these files in a text editor, you will see only illegible characters. The average file size is 420 KB with most files being between 97 KB and 3 MB in size. The file name 001.MJP is characteristic of these files. These files are often associated with video and motion.
The remaining 15% of all MJP files are files with no common format, often e.g. J.River Media Center plugin, RIFF and VBS. They are often associated with register, view, customer, exterior, diesel or park. Just click the "Choose your .mjp file to analyze" button on this page to find out what your MJP file is.
