What is an MNO file?

MNO files mostly belong to Dreamweaver by Adobe. MNO stands for Macromedia Design Note file. MNO files are data files associated with the Dreamweaver and Contribute applications developed by Adobe.

Main Use: Adobe Contribute is a web authorization application that is used to create new web pages or edit existing pages. Adobe Dreamweaver is a web design application that hosts an Integrated Development Environment for the development and designing of websites. Additional Information: The MNO files take the same file name as that of the file whose description they carry and end up with a double file extension. For instance, the MNO file associated with the home.html HTML file has the filename home.html.mno.

How to open an MNO file

You need a suitable software like Dreamweaver to open an MNO file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
