What is an MPO file?

MPO files mostly belong to PaintShop by Corel. MPO is the filename extension of stereoscopic images captured by cameras with stereoscopic lenses. Such MPO files are often called multi-picture objects because they contain two or more JPEG images which are rendered as a 3D image when viewed with special equipment. Devices such as Nintendo 3DS, Fujifilm FinePix Real 3D cameras, and 3D televisions are able to display MPO images as 3D images. How can I open an MPO file?

You need a suitable software like PaintShop to open an MPO file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
