What is a P7B file

P7B files mostly belong to OpenSSL by OpenSSL Developers. A P7B file is a signed public key certificate and/or certificate revocation list (CRL) used to verify/authenticate the identity of an entity or a device when transferring data over a secure network. A P7B certificate file is saved in DER or PEM format in accordance with Public-Key Cryptography Standards #7 (PKCS #7).
