What is a SAI file

SAI files mostly belong to PaintTool SAI by SYSTEMAX. SAI is the native file format of drawings, paintings, or graphics designs created with PaintTool SAI digital painting software. The SAI file contains a drawing canvas, graphics layers, effects, and other information that make up an ongoing drawing or painting project. This file may be saved and re-opened for further editing. SAI is also the filename extension of the company file icon used by SAGE 50 Accounting, a business accounting software developed by SAGE. The SAI company file icon has the same base filename as the SAJ data folder and, the file's contents are written in XML-like format. Files containing source code written in the Static Analysis Intermediate Language (SAIL) have SAI filename extension. These SAI scripts were used by SAIL compilers installed on PDP-10 mainframe computers.
