Default .NFO (MSInfo Document)

Hi ya'll
I'm trying to open a key gen, and finally tried to open one I've used b4 and was unable to open that either. I just installed xp pro (was xp home) and installed SP2. Is that why I'm unable to open? Can't find the right reference to open what system information is calling an .NFO file. UGGGG

Thanks,
She

I'll assume you are attempting to open a keygen in order to see what one does and not to steal software.

The NFO file should be a text file.

As to opening the file in XP, it's likely designed for DOS or an older version of Windows. Under XP you may have to use the compatibility mode (right click on executable, select properties and then compatibility tab). However, if the program attempts to write directly to the hardware it likely won't work at all under XP as XP does not allow that.
