BE file extension format:
To find out what program is needed to open BE files, you need to determine the file format. The initial characters of a file are called signature, sometimes also referred to as "magic bytes". The signature can be used to infer the file format. If the file extension does not match the file format, double-clicking on the file will cause an error upon opening. If there are problems opening a file, you must first determine the file format used. Our analysis of the BE files produces the following result:
BE is rarely used as a file extension and includes different formats for different programs. But the following two file formats are common:
- 40% of all BE files start with the bytes HREC crucial for this file format. The content also consists of readable text fragments, which can be viewed with the help of a text editor. The files are on average 5 KB in size and range from 1 KB to 10 KB. The file type was created recently. The keywords <TABLE>BE, HREC, ICES1_5 and CACHI01 are typical for these files. These files are attributed to signed.
- 30% of all BE files start with the magic bytes BRITONLEAPBE015BE, which are always the first bytes of this file format. If you open these files in a text editor, you will see only illegible characters. The average file size is 42 KB with most files being between 9 KB and 100 KB in size. Certain words are almost always found in the files, such as BRITONLEAPBE015BE, IDMDTL, filename, user, stitches, colors, Users, needles, Desktop and width. Files like these have the following tags: design and logo, and often contain personal information.
All other BE files (30%) have different formats. Files like these are sometimes linked to tier, beintoodeviceid or youtu. If you want to find out what your BE file contains, drag and drop it onto this page.
