What is a BGL file?

BGL files mostly belong to Flight Simulator by Microsoft Corporation. BGL file format is used as scenery file by Microsoft Flight Simulator video game developed by Asobo Studio for Xbox and Windows platforms.

Each file has a definite file format, that is, how the stored data is arranged in the file. Often, the file format can be deduced from the file extension or the initial bytes (called the signature).
