What is a BMML file?

BMML files mostly belong to Braille Music Reader by Contrapunctus. BMML filename extension is associated with musical scores written in braille letters which are readable by persons with visual impairment. BMML music score files are encoded in XML-based formats such as MusicXML or NIFF notation to allow for easy interchange of music scores across programs such as Braille Music Reader. BMML is also the filename extension of website/application mockups and wireframes created using Mockups application prototyping software. The contents of these BMML mockups are also written in XML format. However, Mockups has been discontinued and replaced with Wireframes, while the BMML format has been deprecated and replaced with BMPR files.
