CE is the filename extension of bitmap images captured with monochrome or full-color ComputerEyes video scanner boards and cameras on classic computers developed by IBM, Microsoft, Apple, and Atari. ComputerEyes scanner boards were used to capture still frames from videos in real-time. The accompanying ComputerEyes software was used to digitize and save the captured images. This file format is rarely used nowadays.
