DMO files mostly belong to PC-DMIS. DMO files come in different roles. The most common type stores Dimensional Measurement Output data. How to open DMO files

You need a suitable software like PC-DMIS to open a DMO file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your DMO file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a DMO file directly in the browser:. • 40% of all DMO files use the same file format, which have the signature FILNAM/. These files are text files and can therefore be read using a text editor. • 8% of all DMO files are Visualizer 3D demo project files. These files are binary files, so they do not contain text, but only cryptic characters. DMO files are between 3 KB and 21 KB in size. The files contain the following words: 09OPL, RJBWI, RZ89I, 120304/1, DMO.V3D.01, OKM Ortungstechnik GmbH, V3D.V3D.01'(C)2002-2008 by OKM Ortungstechnik GmbH and USB. The file name Treasure box.dmo or Tunnel.dmo is characteristic of these files.
