What is an EPX file?

EPX files mostly belong to EpiData. EPX files are not one single format; they are used in different systems to hold project or design data.
EpiData XML files: These use XML to store project data. They are used with EpiData software for research and survey data. See details at EpiData.
EPX database archives: Some EPX files are ZIP‐based archives. They store a database and are used in laboratory settings for PCR plate data. This format may be opened with tools like EPXView. More information is available at Cepheid.

How to open an EPX file

You need a suitable software like EpiData to open an EPX file.
