Opening an EXPORT File
The EXPORT file type is primarily associated with FRITZ!Box.

EXPORT file format:
Each file has a definite file format, that is, how the stored data is arranged in the file. Often, the file format can be deduced from the file extension or the initial bytes (called the signature). Nonetheless, different programs can utilize the same file extension to represent distinct file formats. Double-clicking on the file often results in an error when opening. If there are problems opening a file, you must first determine the file format used. Below you will find our evaluation of the EXPORT files:
The EXPORT file ending is used by many programs, each with its own file format. However, the following two file formats are common:
- 20% of all EXPORT files internally utilize the XML file format. The Extensible Markup Language (XML) is a simple text-based format for representing structured information: documents, webpages, data, configuration, books, transactions, invoices, and much more. XML defines a set of rules for encoding documents in a format that is both human-readable and machine-readable. These files are text files, so they contain words and text. A typical file size is 1 KB. Several words can almost always be found in the files, e.g. <NewDataSet> and version. cms_info.xml.export or cms_site.xml.export is a typical file name. These files are often associated with bizform, info, objecttranslation and site.
- 10% of all EXPORT files belong to FRITZ!Box configuration backup. If you open these files in a text editor, you can view and read the content yourself. Most of these files are 150 KB to 440 KB in size. Several words can almost always be found in the files, e.g. **** FRITZ!Box, CONFIGURATION, EXPORT, FirmwareVersion, Password and CONFIG_INSTALL_. Such files are related to ilabor and plus.
All other EXPORT files (70%) have no consistent format, such as ZIP, GZIP, PDF, EMULATOR, english, AEE and JTdCJTIydG. Tagged as gameboy, saves, advance, emploi, temps or data. If you want to find out what your EXPORT file contains, drag and drop it onto this page.
Technical Data for EXPORT File Extension
