What is an FL file?

FL files mostly belong to Freelancer by Microsoft. An FL file is a saved game state created by Freelancer space trading and combat video game. It contains information about the player's latest progress. Freelancer uses data saved in the FL file to resume the game in the future. Freelancer has been discontinued.
