15% of all FSN files utilize the Microsoft Compound File format, which is also called Compound File Binary File format (CFBF or CFB) or OLE2 Compound Document format. Compound document files work similarly to real file systems. They contain a number of independent data streams (like files in a file system) which are organized in a hierarchy of containers (like sub-directories in a file system). The first 8 bytes of the CFB format are D0CF11E0A1B11AE1 (which looks like "DOCFILE"). Each FSN file has an application name, which is Greeting Card Factory. The file contains sections DocInfo, Spreads, Tables, SummaryInformation and Thumb. Most of these files are 35 KB to 1 MB in size. Files like these are about person-related data.
