What is an HZF file?

HZF files mostly belong to HomeZada. An HZF file is a compressed archive that stores a home inspection report in a structured format. Internally, it uses the ZIP file system to pack all the components of the report.
When you open an HZF file with a standard ZIP extractor or the dedicated HomeZada software, you will see that it contains various elements such as:

How to open an HZF file

HZF file extension format:

Why is it important to know the file format? This is the only way to find out which program to use to open the file. Often, the file format can be deduced from the file extension or the initial bytes (called the signature). If the file extension or signature does not match the file format, errors will occur when opening or editing the file. • 1% of all HZF files belong to neosat fixes. These are binary files, so they do not contain words or text. The files are on average 2 MB in size and range from 2.4 MB to 2.4 MB.
