To view or edit IMR files you need to know the file format, because it determines how the data in this file is stored. Sections and streams in the file are named ArmfaaaaAaaaaadaAaaaaaaaGc, Contents, DocumentSummaryInformation, ReportHeader, ReportPreview, SummaryInformation, SnapshotData and SnapshotHeader. IMR files can be up to 340 KB in size, but are often around 37 KB - 92 KB. The file type is relatively new. These files are attributed to address, report, historic, permit and bsns.
• 9% of all IMR files use the same file format, which can be identified by the letters "$IMURAW" at the beginning. The contents of these files cannot be read by a human; only a computer program can interpret the data. Most of these files are 900 KB to 16 MB in size. The keywords $IMURAW are typical for these files.
