What is an IVE file

IVE files mostly belong to OpenSceneGraph by OSG Community. Files with IVE file extension contain 3D models stored in OpenSceneGraph format; an open-source API for creating and visualizing 3D graphics in games, presentations, virtual reality, or animations. Contents of IVE files are stored as binary data and it can be converted to/from AVI, OBJ, MP4, or OBJ formats. The versions of Virtual Planet Builder software released in 2009 or later, use the IVE file extension to store databases containing high-resolution raster and elevation data. The data in such IVE databases are often generated from digital elevation maps and geospatial imagery.

How do you open IVE files?

You need a suitable software like OpenSceneGraph from OSG Community to open an IVE file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your IVE file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a IVE file directly in the browser:. IVE file format:

The file format, which is the arrangement and type of data in a file, determines which program can open the file. Often, the file format can be deduced from the file extension or the initial bytes (called the signature). Frequently, however, one file extension is used by different programs for different file formats, and one file format for different file extensions. So you need a detailed analysis of a file to find out the format and the associated program. Our evaluation of the IVE files looks like this:

The IVE file type is used by a few programs, each with its own file format. The file formats most commonly found in IVE files are:

• 60% of all IVE files belong to OpenSceneGraph native binary format. The content consists of illegible binary data, which can only be read and interpreted by the associated programs. Most of these files are 100 KB to 24 MB in size. The file type is old but is used even today. These files can be linked to subtile, audia, swus, sign, terrain and model.
• 30% of all IVE files start with the bytes IVE crucial for this file format. The contents of these files cannot be read by a human; only a computer program can interpret the data. IVE files are between 1 MB and 930 MB in size. Certain words are almost always found in the files, such as "Clips": [, "Library": {, CreatorVersion, IVE, document.json and "Brush": {. A usual file name is Mi proyecto 1 2020-06-01 10-30.ive or My project 1 2020-06-01 10-30.ive. Files like these are sometimes connected to project, proyecto and projet.
