What is a JSD file?

JSD files mostly belong to JetSuite Pro by Hewlett-Packard. JSD file type is associated with data files used in the Jazer application developed by Jazer Solutions.

  • Main Use: JSD stands for Jazer Solutions Data file. Jazer is a simplified personal and financial management program used to analyze, manage, plan, and keep track of spendings, savings, budget creation, debt monitoring, and investment forecasting. The financial information is stored by the application in a binary format using the JSD file extension. JSD files can be opened only on Windows PCs using the Jazer software that is available in three versions; Jazer 100, Jazer 200, and Jazer 300.
  • Other Uses: JSD files are also associated with HP JetSuite Pro, a software used for scanning, copying, sending faxes, and printing documents using HP printers. HP JetSuite Pro saves scanned document data in the JSD file format. HP JetSuite Pro software that stores JSD scan data can only be installed on Windows PCs. JSD files are also associated with the photo-editing software, Corel Paint Shop Pro, to store image slice settings data. JSD files are also used by the Windows screen reading software, JAWS (Job Access With Speech), to save JAWS script documentation data.

How to open JSD files

You need a suitable software like JetSuite Pro to open a JSD file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your JSD file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a JSD file directly in the browser:. Just drag the file onto this browser window and drop it.

JSD file format:

Every file has a defined file format, i.e. how the data is arranged in the file. A file format is determined by the file extension and signature, so JPEG images have the extension .jpg and the first bytes in the file are ÿØÿ. Nonetheless, different programs can utilize the same file extension to represent distinct file formats. Double-clicking on the file often results in an error when opening. So you need a detailed analysis of a file to find out the format and the associated program. Our analysis of the JSD files produces the following result:

JSD is not a common file extension and is used by a few programs, each with its own file format. However, the following two file formats are common:
