How do you open LPC files?
You need a suitable software like Vendor-specific to open an LPC file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your LPC file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a LPC file directly in the browser:. Just drag the file onto this browser window and drop it.

LPC file extension format:
Each file has a definite file format, that is, how the stored data is arranged in the file. A file format is determined by the file extension and signature, so JPEG images have the extension .jpg and the first bytes in the file are ÿØÿ. If the file extension does not match the file format, double-clicking on the file will cause an error upon opening. When there is a problem with a file, the first step to solving it is to determine the file format. Below is our analysis of the LPC files:
The LPC file extension is rarely used and includes very many different file formats. The two most common formats are as follows:
- 15% of all LPC files have the same signature BlockSectorPaddingSize. These files are plain text, which means they can be viewed with any text editor such as Windows Editor, Nano for Linux, and TextEdit for macOS. LPC files are between 2 KB and 650 KB in size. The files contain the following words: BigFileSize, BlockSectorPaddingSize, NbObject, ObjectsSize, PoolSectorPaddingSize 0, EndDiskSize, SortByBlock, BITMAP_Z and TEXTURES.
- 8% of all LPC files start with the magic bytes Date: 19.05.2021 Laser type: TruMicro5380FE_UV_1000kHz, which are always the first bytes of this file format. These files are not pure binary files and are therefore readable and interpretable with a text editor. LPC files can be up to 2 KB in size, but are often around 1 KB - 2 KB. The files contain the following words: Date: 19.05.2021, Laser type: TruMicro5380FE_UV_1000kHz, Optical path: hsII14_56mm_343nm, Controlvoltage, Divider: 1, Frequency[kHz]: 1000.00 and 0.0000. These files are often associated with micro and ende.
All other LPC files (77%) have different formats. Just click the "Choose your .lpc file to analyze" button on this page to find out what your LPC file is.

How to solve problems with LPC files
- Associate the LPC file extension with the correct application.
- Update your software that should actually open data files. Because only the current version supports the latest LPC file format. Search, therefore, e.g. on the manufacturer website after an available Vendor-specific update.
- To make sure that your LPC file is not corrupted or virus-infected, get the file again and scan it with Google's virustotal.com.
- Click here to open your .LPC file online - secure, fast, and no downloads needed.
