What is an MFC file?

MFC files mostly belong to HTK, SolidWorks, Media Foundation. MFC files are not created by one single standard. They are used in different fields and have distinct functions.

Speech Feature File: In one use, an MFC file is a speech feature file. It holds data such as mel-frequency coefficients used in speech recognition. This format is associated with the HTK toolkit and is sometimes called a Material Exchange Format file, linked to MediaForge Studio.

MSC Nastran File: Another use is for storing simulation data. In this case, the file may be a MSC Nastran file. How to open an MFC file

MFC file format:

The file format, which is the arrangement and type of data in a file, determines which program can open the file. A file format is determined by the file extension and signature, so JPEG images have the extension .jpg and the first bytes in the file are ÿØÿ.
