OWS files mostly belong to Orange Data Mining. OWS files are used mainly as workflow configuration files in the Orange data mining environment. • 9% of all OWS files internally use the Microsoft Compound File format, which is also called Compound File Binary File format (CFBF or CFB) or OLE2 Compound Document format. This Windows file format has features similar to those of a filesystem format with virtual files and subfolders. Compound files always start with the bytes ÐÏࡱá (hex code D0 CF 11 E0 A1 B1 1A E1). The globally unique identifier of this file type is 59719580-d994-11cf-b681-0020aff92876. The file contains sections that are named something like WebSiteInternalInfo. The files are on average 7 MB in size and range from 46 KB to 48 MB. These files are often associated with website, and often consist of personal data.
