What is a PEG file?

PEG files mostly belong to Peggle by PopCap. A PEG file is a replay clip created by Peggle peg-clearing video game. It contains a video clip recorded during gameplay. This file can be shared to other players and viewed in their own instance of Peggle. Another type of PEG file is a 2D animation project created with Callipeg animation software for the iPad. A single PEG project contains hand-drawn animation, images, and audio clips. PEG is also the filename extension of data files used by Red Faction II (now discontinued) video game.

How to open a PEG file

You need a suitable software like Peggle to open a PEG file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
