QPL file format:
Every file has a defined file format, i.e. how the data is arranged in the file. The initial characters of a file are called signature, sometimes also referred to as "magic bytes". The signature can be used to infer the file format. However, different programs can use the same file extension, and file extensions can be assigned incorrectly. If there are problems opening a file, you must first determine the file format used. Below is our analysis of the QPL files:
QPL is rarely used as a file extension and includes various formats for various programs. The two most common formats are as follows:
- 40% of all QPL files are Quoter Plan project files, which are based on the XML file format. The Extensible Markup Language (XML) is a simple text-based format for representing structured information: documents, webpages, data, configuration, books, transactions, invoices, and much more. XML defines a set of rules for encoding documents in a format that is both human-readable and machine-readable. These files are plain text, which means they can be viewed with any text editor such as Windows Editor, Nano for Linux, and TextEdit for macOS. The files are on average 23 KB in size and range from 200 bytes to 110 KB. This file type is based on cutting-edge technology. The following keywords are characteristic: <?xml version="1.0"?>, <QuoterPlanSession>, Project Name, <ContactInfo></ContactInfo>, <ContactName></ContactName>, <Description></Description> and JobNumber. Such files sometimes refer to vrier and juin.
- 20% of all QPL files start with the bytes 8B 9B D8 48 63 92 14 85, which are crucial for this file format. These files contain neither text nor words, but only data. The files are often between 5 KB and 97 KB in size. These files can be linked to world and madrid.
The remaining 40% of all QPL files are files with no common format. Drag & drop your file here to see the file format and a preview of your QPL file!
Technical Data for QPL File Extension
The following listing is compiled from the database produced by the 'Associate This!' program, selected data from the main FILExt database and file extension information submitted by users.

a qpl text-based data file is a special file format and should only be edited and saved with the appropriate software.
How to solve problems with QPL files
- Associate the QPL file extension with the correct application.
- Update your software that should actually open text-based data files. Because only the current version supports the latest QPL file format. Search, therefore, e.g. on the manufacturer website after an available QuoterPlan update.
- To make sure that your QPL file is not corrupted or virus-infected, get the file again and scan it with Google's virustotal.com.
- Click here to open your .QPL file online - secure, fast, and no downloads needed.
