What is a QRC file?

QRC files mostly belong to Qt SDK by Qt. QRC stands for Qt Resource Collection file. QRC file format is used to store setting files associated with the software application suite Qt, developed by Digia.

Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
