SEC file format details:
A file format defines how the data in the file is structured. The first characters in a file identify the file format, for example, HTML files start with the bytes <html>. However, different programs can use the same file extension, and file extensions can be assigned incorrectly. So you need a detailed analysis of a file to find out the format and the associated program. In the following you will find our evaluation of the SEC files:
SEC is a very common file type and includes very many different file formats. But the following two file formats are common:
- 15% of all SEC files start with the bytes 00 E0 crucial for this file format. The contents of these files cannot be read by a human; only a computer program can interpret the data. The files are on average 75 MB in size and range from 6 MB to 730 MB. The file type was developed only in the last few years.
- 10% of all SEC files start with the bytes 0D 0A, which are crucial for this file format. The content consists of readable text data, which can be read using a text editor. Most of these files are 2 KB to 7 KB in size. The keywords *=========== and Exercise 1 are typical for these files. Such files sometimes refer to exercise, completedo, resultsdo, holderdo, exampledo, pfluegerdo and keppnerdo.
All other SEC files (75%) have different formats, such as MP4, ZIP, EXE, MKV, XML, Source, DOC, PDF, GZIP, Salted, zXZ, TFORM and INFKEY. Tagged as anmr, ydxj, examdo, exam, pdbsh or setup. Drag & drop your file here to see the file format and a preview of your SEC file!
