TDI format details:
To view or edit TDI files you need to know the file format, because it determines how the data in this file is stored. The initial characters of a file are called signature, sometimes also referred to as "magic bytes". The signature can be used to infer the file format. File extension, signature and file format must match; otherwise errors will occur when the file is opened. So you need a detailed analysis of a file to find out the format and the associated program. Below is our analysis of the TDI files:
The TDI file extension is not found very often and is used by different programs with different formats. But the following two file formats are common:
- 30% of all TDI files start with the magic bytes KTDITDIT,, which are always the first bytes of this file format. The content consists of illegible binary data, which can only be read and interpreted by the associated programs. TDI files can be up to 7 MB in size, but are often around 180 KB - 2 MB. It is a modern file type. The following keywords are characteristic: KTDITDIT. Files like these are about dessin and print.
- 20% of all TDI files store the data in the EXE file format. EXE is the abbreviation for executable and is the standard executable file format on Windows. The format can be identified by the letters "MZ" at the beginning. Executable files can also be used to distribute viruses and other types of malicious software (malware). These files are binary files, so they do not contain text, but only cryptic characters. The files are 92 KB to 70 MB in size, with a median of 240 KB. The following keywords are characteristic: !This program cannot be run in DOS mode. Examples of file names are ISO_Obj_Item.tdi or aa.tdi. These files can be linked to item, alphanumeric, serviced and aaaaaa.
All other TDI files (50%) have different formats, the following 5 formats exist: XML, FOR and TOSHIBA. These files are often connected to drawing, data, reference, icon or slot. If you want to find out which format your TDI file belongs to, just click on the button "Choose your .tdi file to view this image".
