All about TEE Files
The TEE file type is primarily associated with TeeChart.
What is a TEE file?
TEE files are used to store TeeChart graph data. They hold chart layouts, design details, and data series in a binary format.

How to open a TEE file
You need a suitable software like TeeChart to open a TEE file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your TEE file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a TEE file directly in the browser:. Just drag the file onto this browser window and drop it.

By tracing curves freehand or even over a backdrop graph the data is entered just as it's shown. It's also possible to create the data automatically by entering a few parameters.
TEE format details:
If you know the file format, you can also find out how to open or edit the file. The initial characters of a file are called signature, sometimes also referred to as "magic bytes". The signature can be used to infer the file format. File extension, signature and file format must match; otherwise errors will occur when the file is opened. So a detailed analysis of a file is vital in order to determine the format and the associated program. Our evaluation of the TEE files looks like this:
The TEE file extension is not found very often and is mainly used by one program with a specific format. The following file formats are most commonly found in TEE files:
- 70% of all TEE files start with the bytes 60 30 crucial for this file format. They consist of unreadable binary data. The files are 2 KB to 260 KB in size, with a median of 15 KB. The file type was created 10 years ago, but is still used today. The keywords Height, Left, TPF0, Width, BackWall, TChart, Color, Gradient, Brush, EndColor, AllowPanning, Text, Title, Strings, pmNone, clWhite and Visible are typical for these files. Such TEE files store data about wave, chart, graf, step, tens and tint.
- 10% of all TEE files start with the bytes object TChart crucial for this file format. These files are text files and can therefore be read using a text editor. The files are on average 95 KB in size and range from 4 KB to 1 MB. Certain words are almost always found in the files, such as Height, Width, object TChart, Left = 0, Top = 0, Foot.Text.Strings = (, Foot.Font.Color = clSilver, Foot.Font.Style = [] and BackWall.Color = clBlack.
All other TEE files (20%) have no uniform format, the following 3 formats exist: ZIP. The category is graph. Drag & drop your file here to see the file format and a preview of your TEE file!
Technical Data for TEE File Extension
The following listing is compiled from the database produced by the 'Associate This!' program, selected data from the main FILExt database and file extension information submitted by users.

a tee binary chart file is a special file format and should only be edited and saved with the appropriate software.
How to solve problems with TEE files
- Associate the TEE file extension with the correct application.
- Update your software that should actually open binary chart files. Because only the current version supports the latest TEE file format. Search, therefore, e.g. on the manufacturer website after an available TeeChart update.
- To make sure that your TEE file is not corrupted or virus-infected, get the file again and scan it with Google's virustotal.com.
- Click here to open your .TEE file online - secure, fast, and no downloads needed.
