File Extension A64

File type: 64 Memory Pak Note Hex Export

The A64 file type is primarily associated with 'Nintendo' by Nintendo. This file format is a text format which hex-encodes the binary mempak data. The format of an A64 file is:

The A64 format, along with mempak formats of other types, are not assigned to any specific program and were invented in times of emulation programming for the N64 console. This format is used by The Adaptoid N64 to PC interface driver as well as N-Rage's DirectInput8 and maybe others.

When windows gives you an error message saying that it
"Cannot open A64 files", this means either:

A. You need to identify a program that can open the file
B. Or your registry may be damaged
