What is a CSP file?

CSP files mostly belong to CASL by Caslsoft. A CSP file is a program written in Compact Application Solution Language (CASL). This file can be created and executed with CASL integrated development environment. The contents of these files cannot be read by a human; only a computer program can interpret the data. The files are on average 210 KB in size and range from 55 KB to 480 KB.
10% of all CSP files are based on the zip format, that is, a CSP file includes multiple compressed files. Primarily 2 to 4 files are included. A little tip: If you rename the file extension to .zip and then double-click, you will see the included files and images. The files are 38 KB to 3 MB in size, with a median of 800 KB.

The remaining 75% of all CSP files are files with no common format, such as Creative Signal Processor microcode, Cinespace LUT and config. These files sometimes refer to custompids.
