Opening CVA Files
The CVA file type is primarily associated with HP System Software Manager.
What is a CVA file
- Main Use: The HP System Software Manager (HP SSM) software is used for the purpose of updating devices, platforms, and languages details on computers. The CV file used by HP SSM consists of the name and version details of the update along with a command for executing the update on the target computer. It also contains settings used for installing hardware drivers and BIOS updates and additional PC tools on HP computers. CVA files arrive as a part of HP's SoftPaq update. These SoftPaqs contain the deliverables and an executable setup file apart from the CVA file.
- Other Uses: CVA format is used as a sequence set file format by a technical drawing software called Canvas for storing macros that help automate repetitive works and also in saving bundles of sequences. CVA Sequence set files can be opened by navigating to Edit → Sequences in the Canvas software. The Sequences Window in the software permits the users to record sequences as CVA files that are saved in the /Sequences/ sub-directory of the software.
