File type: Digital Signature

The DDOC file type is primarily associated with 'DigiDoc' by OpenXAdES Project. DigiDoc is a universal system for giving, processing and verifying digital signatures created by AS Sertifitseerimiskeskus. It can be connected to any existing or new software, but its components are also a stand-alone client program and web portal. The DigiDoc client is available to anybody to download for free. Anyone can use it to verify digital signatures or, if you have an Estonian ID card and smart card reader, also to give digital signatures.

When windows gives you an error message saying that it
"Cannot open DDOC files", this means either:

A. You need to indentify a program that can open the file
B. Or your registry may be damaged

In both cases it is strongly recommended that you
run a free scan for registry errors.
