What is a DLI file

DLI files mostly belong to DL-NET. DLI files refer to files with distinct functions based on their internal data.
For instance, one format is a steel reinforcement file used by DL-NET. These are known as Acero Digital drawing files and are designed to store detailed engineering drawings for steel reinforcement. Such files carry specific design data that engineers use in construction projects.

How do you open DLI files?

You need a suitable software like DL-NET to open a DLI file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. To view or edit DLI files you need to know the file format, because it determines how the data in this file is stored. The file format can be deduced from the file extension and the signature. However, different programs can use the same file extension. Furthermore, a file extension can be renamed incorrectly and double-clicking on it will then display an error when it is opened. The DLI file extension is rather rarely used and includes different formats for different programs. The two most common formats are as follows:

• 50% of all DLI files use the same file format, which have the signature 00 00 00 00. The contents of these files can even be read by a human. The file size is in the range of 18 KB to 59 KB. It is a modern file type. The following keywords are characteristic: PREFERENCIAS DIBUJOS and disol-colomsat-net.co. Files like these are about acero, cartilla, columnas, torre, despiece, muros, vigas, casa and piso, and often consist of personal data.
• 10% of all DLI files use the popular EXE file format. EXE is the abbreviation for executable and is the standard executable file format on Windows. The format can be identified by the letters "MZ" at the beginning. Executable files can also be used to distribute viruses and other types of malicious software (malware). The content consists of illegible binary data, which can only be read and interpreted by the associated programs. The files are on average 310 KB in size and range from 59 KB to 4 MB. The following keywords are characteristic: !This program cannot be run in DOS mode. A usual file name is rgm2max.dli. Files like these are sometimes connected to import.
