What is an EGG file?

EGG files mostly belong to Panda3D by Carnegie Mellon University. The EGG format is a compressed archive used by different programs. It may most likely be generated by ALZip, a file compression and decompression program developed by ESTsoft.

Features: The EGG format provides support for the Unicode standard as well as several compression algorithms such as solid compression, a technique that automatically chooses an optimal compression ratio depending on the task.

How to open an EGG file

You need a suitable software like Panda3D to open an EGG file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
