The GM6 file type is primarily associated with 'Game Maker' by YoYo Games Limited. Game Maker allows you to make computer games, without the need to write a single line of code. You can make games with backgrounds, animated graphics, music and sound effects, and even 3D games. Game Maker was written by Mark Overmars. He is a full professor at the Institute of Information and Computing Sciences at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. On Feb 28 2007 version 7.0 of Game Maker was released through the YoYo Games website. This file format is specific to Version 6 of the program; Version 7 will open it.

When windows gives you an error message saying that it
"Cannot open GM6 files", this means either:

A. You need to identify a program that can open the file
B. Or your registry may be damaged
