To view or edit HKT files you need to know the file format, because it determines how the data in this file is stored. A common filename is SE_astronaut.hkt or p_body.hkt. Such HKT files store data about tile, astronaut, brute, body, skin and left.
• 20% of all HKT files start with the bytes 00 00 crucial for this file format. These files contain neither text nor words, but only data. Most of these files are 8 KB to 35 KB in size. The files contain the following words: Physics Scene Data, SDKV, hknpPhysicsSceneData, hkxScene, TAG0@, DATA, Resource Data and hkMemoryResourceContainer. An example of a file name is Default.hkt or Table_03.hkt.
