What is a HUS file?

HUS files mostly belong to Embird by BALARAD. A HUS file is an embroidery design document saved in a format supported by Viking electronic sewing machines manufactured by Husqvarna. A single HUS file contains stitches represented by machine commands (trim, jump, stop etc.) which a machine uses to sew a design into a piece of fabric. Programs such as Embird Studio, SewWhat!, BuzzXplore, and DecoStudio can be used to edit, view, and export a stitch/embroidery design saved in a HUS file.

How to open HUS files

You need a suitable software like Embird to open a HUS file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
