IRF files mostly belong to iWatch by JLE. IRF is the filename extension of videos captured with CCTV cameras of an iVIEW or iWatch surveillance system. Such IRF files contain surveillance video footage, audio, timestamps and metadata such as camera id, capture format, etc. The videos are saved in a proprietary video container format using H.264 video codec and IRF videos may be viewed or exported to AVI form via at iWatch for Windows or Mac. How to open IRF files

You need a suitable software like iWatch to open an IRF file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
