File type: World Lighting Effect

The LGT file type is primarily associated with 'Age of Mythology' by Ensemble Studios Microsoft. The Map Editor or Scenario Editor is a tool available in Age of Mythology to create your own maps, known as Scenarios. Ensemble Studios used the same map editor in the game to create the massive Single Player Campaign. To change the lighting click the Light bulb icon in the editor. A drag down list will appear with your lighting choices. It is possible to make your own custom lighting sets.

When windows gives you an error message saying that it
"Cannot open LGT files", this means either:

A. You need to identify a program that can open the file
B. Or your registry may be damaged

In both cases it is strongly recommended that you
run a free scan for registry errors.
