What is an LTR file?

LTR files mostly belong to Act! by Act!. An LTR file contains a letter created by messaging and document authoring programs such as Act! customer relationship management software. The contents of an LTR file are usually saved as plain text which may be read or edited with a plain text editor. Most programs which use LTR files are obsolete or discontinued. Another type of LTR file contains binary data used by Neverwinter Nights roleplaying video game.

How do you open LTR files?

LTR files are between 11 KB and 310 KB in size. The keywords <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?>, <LtrSchema Version="3" /> and <Trend Version="0.5"> are typical for these files.
