What is a MOGRT file?

MOGRT files mostly belong to Premiere Pro by Adobe. MOGRT is the file extension used by an Adobe Motion Graphics template. A Motion Graphics template is created in Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere Pro. It allows the usage of Adobe After Effects motion graphics in Adobe Premiere Pro. These templates may be used for overlays, titles, subtitles, lower thirds, and other motion graphic elements. Before the MOGRT file format was introduced, the AECAP format was used to store After Effects templates. These were replaced by the MOGRT format in Adobe Creative Cloud 2017.

How to open a MOGRT file

You need a suitable software like Premiere Pro to open a MOGRT file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
