What is a P02 file?

P02 files mostly belong to Allplan. The P02 file can mean two different things depending on its origin.
In one use, it is an Allplan CAD drawing file – sometimes called an Allplan Plot File. This file stores drawing data used in planning and building design. It is an internal format that works only with the Allplan software created by Allura Plan Design.
In another use, a P02 file may be a segment of a split archive for a PowerPoint slide. In this case, the file is one part of a multi‑segment setup created by utilities like PeaZip and handled by recovery tools such as EasyRecovery. All parts must be present to rebuild the complete presentation.

How to open P02 files

You need a suitable software like Allplan to open a P02 file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
