Opening a PLO File
The PLO file type is primarily associated with KovaaK's Aim Trainer.
What is a PLO file?
Many PLO files are used to store aim training routines in gaming. In tools such as KovaaK's Aim Trainer and Aim Lab, these files hold the settings and scenarios that help players practice and improve their aim.
Other PLO files are generated by plotter applications. For example, some are HPGL plotter output files used to send drawing instructions to printers or cutting machines.
There are also PLO files that record physics simulation outputs or graphing data for programs like gnuplot. Some come in an XML format for fullCAM plot files, while others are used to store plot data in game engines (as seen in Neverwinter Nights) or even serve as embroidery design files.
When working with a PLO file, consider its origin to choose the right program.
How can I open a PLO file?
You need a suitable software like KovaaK's Aim Trainer to open a PLO file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your PLO file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a PLO file directly in the browser:. Just drag the file onto this browser window and drop it.

PLO file format details:
A file format defines how the data in the file is structured. The file format can be deduced from the file extension and the signature. File extension, signature and file format must match; otherwise errors will occur when the file is opened. When there is a problem with a file, the first step to solving it is to determine the file format. Our evaluation of the PLO files looks like this:
PLO is a very common file type and is mainly used by one program with a specific format. The following file formats are most commonly found in PLO files:
- 75% of all PLO files use the same file format, which have the signature GVAS. The content consists of illegible binary data, which can only be read and interpreted by the associated programs. The files are on average 2 KB in size and range from 1 KB to 2 KB. The file type was created recently. Several words can almost always be found in the files, e.g. ++UE4+Release-4.21 and GVAS. The file name Zeeq - Click.plo is characteristic of these files. Such PLO files store data about valorant, voltaic, zeeq, routine, click, easy, advanced and sparky.
- 10% of all PLO files use the same file format, which can be identified by the letters "1B 25 2D 31" at the beginning. If you open these files in a text editor, you can view and read the content yourself. PLO files can be up to 1 MB in size, but are often around 46 KB - 380 KB. Certain words are almost always found in the files, such as %-1BBPINSP1;, PDPA and PUPA. Such PLO files store data about shirt.
All other PLO files (15%) have no uniform format, often, for example, XML and GFF. Sometimes used for tracking, beginner, static, pyth, fundamental or clicking. If you want to find out which format your PLO file belongs to, just click on the button "Choose your .plo file to analyze".

How to solve problems with PLO files
- Associate the PLO file extension with the correct application.
- Update your software that should actually open data files. Because only the current version supports the latest PLO file format. Search, therefore, e.g. on the manufacturer website after an available KovaaK's Aim Trainer update.
- To make sure that your PLO file is not corrupted or virus-infected, get the file again and scan it with Google's virustotal.com.
