Opening RFP Files
The RFP file type is primarily associated with RoboForm.
What is an RFP file
How do you open RFP files?
You need a suitable software like RoboForm to open an RFP file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your RFP file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a RFP file directly in the browser:. Just drag the file onto this browser window and drop it.

Programs that open and convert RFP files:
- RoboForm by Siber
See the previous paragraphs to learn more about the main application. RFP files are often referred to as RoboForm miscs because this type of file is primarily created or used by this software.
- Examina (data) by BareExamina is an action roleplaying video game available on Steam. It uses an RFP file to save various kinds of data. This file format is classified as Game.
RFP file format:
Each file has a definite file format, that is, how the stored data is arranged in the file. Often, the file format can be deduced from the file extension or the initial bytes (called the signature). Frequently, however, one file extension is used by different programs for different file formats, and one file format for different file extensions. If there are problems opening a file, you must first determine the file format used. Below you will find our evaluation of the RFP files:
The RFP file extension is rather rarely used and includes different formats for the applicable programs. The file formats most commonly found in RFP files are:
- 65% of all RFP files are RoboForm saved data files. These files contain text and words, not binary data. The files are often between 600 bytes and 7 KB in size. This is an old file type which is rarely used today. The keywords URL3:ver3:O~WO~KO~KO~OO~LO, QO~\O~PO~RO and PO~HO~HO~HO are typical for these files. These files can be linked to form and robo.
- 8% of all RFP files use the same file format, which can be identified by the letters "10 BD DF AF 00 00 00 00 45 78 61 6E 69 6D 61" at the beginning. The content also consists of readable text fragments, which can be viewed with the help of a text editor. RFP files are between 150 bytes and 150 bytes in size. Certain words are almost always found in the files, such as Exanima, Objlib, Resource, Resource\Common.rml, Resource\Underworld0.rml, Resource\UnderworldB.rml and Textures. Some examples of file names are Exanima.rfp.
All other RFP files (27%) have no consistent format, often e.g. zlib and XML. These files sometimes refer to backup. You can get all the details of your RFP file by dragging it onto this page or by clicking the button "Choose your .rfp file to view" above.
Technical Data for RFP File Extension
The following listing is compiled from the database produced by the 'Associate This!' program, selected data from the main FILExt database and file extension information submitted by users.
EXEFile: Passcards.exe
EXEFile: %ProgramFiles%\Siber Systems\AI RoboForm\Passcards.exe %1
EXEFile: %ProgramFiles%\Siber Systems\AI RoboForm\Passcards.exe %2 %1
EXEFile: C:\Varian\CARYWI~1\FabricProt.exe
an rfp passcard is a special file format by Siber and should only be edited and saved with the appropriate software.
How to solve problems with RFP files
- Associate the RFP file extension with the correct application.
- Update your software that should actually open passcards. Because only the current version supports the latest RFP file format. Search, therefore, e.g. on the Siber manufacturer website after an available RoboForm update.
- To make sure that your RFP file is not corrupted or virus-infected, get the file again and scan it with Google's virustotal.com.
- Click here to open your .RFP file online - secure, fast, and no downloads needed.
